BankPozitif Gets USD 150 million Long Term Loan

Bankpozitif Kredi ve Kalkınma Bankası Anonim Şirketi ("BankPozitif" or the "Bank") has today successfully finalized long term borrowing from Commerzbank International S.A. for USD 150 million with 5 years of maturity. JP Morgan, RBS and Standard Bank acted as joint bookrunners, Iş Investment acted as co-manager in the transaction.

Hasan Akçakayalıoğlu, Chairman and CEO of BankPozitif stated: "The successful completion of this transaction highlights the continuing trust and strong support to BankPozitif by international markets. We will be disbursing these proceeds from this 5 years funding to the our customers as investment and working capital loans with up to 5 years of grace periods. This long term funding capability of BankPozitif highlights the strength of the Turkish Banking System to the international markets. I believe that we have paved the way for other Turkish banks to access longer term funding sources during the period of normalization in the international financial markets."
