2002 November, C Faktoring A.Ş. acquired Toprak Yatırım Bankası A.Ş' from Saving Deposit Insurance Fund in an auction. And then the name of the bank was changed to C Kredi ve Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. (C Bank).
2003 May, C Bilişim Teknolojileri ve Telekomünikason Hizmetleri A.Ş. was established to carry out all IT activities of the Bank and C Group also. And then on July, the Bank acquired Pozitif Menkul Değerler A.Ş. (Pozitif Menkul) as an equity brokerage and corporate finance services company.
2004 Opening of Ankara and Izmir offices to carry out corporate banking activities in these cities.
2005 negotiation with Bank Hapoalim, one of the biggest banks in Israel with its international presence through its subsidiaries, branches and representative offices around the world, was started. On 13 December 2005 Bank Hapoalim signed an agreement to acquire a 57.55% stake in Bankpozitif by means of a capital injection.
2005 the name of the Bank was changed to Bankpozitif Kredi ve Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. (BankPozitif).
2006 All necessary approvals from both Turkish and Israeli authorities were obtained in 2006, and on 16 November 2006 Bank Hapoalim completed the acquisition and injected a capital amounting to TL144 million, in order to have 57.55% of shareholding in BankPozitif. C Faktoring's stake in BankPozitif decreased to %42.45.
2007 BankPozitif actively started its retail business, and opened 3 regional offices in Istanbul, one regional office in Ankara and Izmir, 6 branches in Istanbul, 2 branches in Ankara and one branch in Izmir to carry our its retail business.
2007 February, BankPozitif completed the first syndication deal in Turkey of the year by USD 125 million.
2007 March, BankPozitif was assigned by International Rating Agency Fitch, with the highest rating possible in Turkey.
2007 June, BankPozitif completed a long-term borrowing amounting to USD 150 million from Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A. through Loan Participation Note (LPN) issue with a maturity of 5 years.
2007 November, BankPozitif acquired a new subsidiary by the way of purchase of all stakes in JSC BankPozitiv ( formerly "JSC Demir Kazakhstan Bank "). Cost of this investment was funded by a share capital increase amounting to TL 86.4 million in cash. By the end of 2007, total equity of the Bank 2007 was increased to TL 358 million.
2007 December, BankPozitif was assigned an "Investment Grade" rating by International Rating Agency Fitch, in terms of TL long-term IDR credit note.
2008 January, BankPozitif established US$1.0 Billion Loan Participation Notes Medium Term Note Programme (the "MTN Programme"). MTN Programme of BankPozitif is to be the first and the only programme established by a Turkish institution.
2008 February, BankPozitif successfully finalized the first LPN issue under its newly established US$1.0 Billion Loan Participation Notes Medium Term Note Programme (the "MTN Programme"). LPN issue was made under the co-lead management of Commerzbank ve Citibank and BankPozitif completed the borrowing from Commerzbank Bank Luxembourg S.A. amounting to USD 150 million with a maturity of 5 years.
2008 March, BankPozitif's share capital was increased from TL 278 million to TL 337 million. After the share capital increase, the shares of the Bank belonging to Bank Hapoalim increased to 65.00% from 57.55% and BankPozitif's total equity exceeded TL 440 million.
