BankPozitif Kredi ve Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. has finalized its first banking investment abroad by acquiring a new subsidiary through purchase of all stakes in JSC Demir Kazakhstan Bank (DKB) on 21 November 2007. Total cost of this investment was 76.5 million USD together with the share capital increase after the acquisition of JSC BankPozitiv. JSC BankPozitiv has been carrying out its activities as a mid-sized banking institution reputed for the quality and liquidity of its assets and characterized by prudence and conservative management in the Kazakh banking sector. Throughout its branches, JSC BankPozitiv offers a full range of financial products to its corporate and retail clients including trade finance, consumer finance, credit cards, deposit products, cash and asset management. . JSC BankPozitiv's network comprises 3 branches and employs 200 people.
